Seven Great Money Ideas to Ponder Over

In this second (one) third of the year, we will concern ourselves with blogging and affiliate income. But first, let us speak on a few general matters concerning money. I have heard many people say money isn't everything. One of the best derivatives of that idea I have ever heard is ‘it is much better to cry in a Mercedes Benz than on a bicycle’. Well, there are indeed different strokes for different folk.

As you plan the next segment of the year, here are great money ideas adopted from the net. They are great money ideas to ponder over as you work to build your financial future in the coming months.

1.    Spend less than you earn.

At all times, make it your purpose to spend less money than you make.

2.    Avoid debt like the plague.

The status symbol in the new economy isn't fancy cars and big houses. It's being able to say you are DEBT FREE.

3.    Get small fast.

If something has changed in your life and your income falls below the ability to pay your bills, then GET SMALL FAST. Sell the extra car, get a smaller home, cut back, do whatever you have to do but get your financial footprint SMALL. This will give you options. If you find yourself in a hole, the first rule is to stop digging.

4.    Make personal sacrifices if necessary.

Make personal sacrifices where necessary, but NEVER stop investing in your own personal growth. You only get to make what you are.

5.    Try and save as much as you can.

When you have a part-time business such as you can make in online blogging and affiliate sales, try to save every penny of your extra income. Pay your bills with your ‘Job’, but when it comes to your business money, pay for your business expenses only (website hosting, product development, blog articles, email marketing software, etc) and save the rest. That will give you sufficient capital to build your business.

6.    Build momentum to your perfect lifestyle.

You'll never be free if you insist on having the perfect lifestyle before you are financially able to do so. That fancy car can wait. The amazing house can wait. The dream vacation can wait. Get creative when it comes to having fun with your family. Just don't spend every penny of your future or you'll never get to where you want to be.

7.    Pay your taxes on time.

Obey the laws of the land by putting your business affairs in order particularly when it comes to paying your taxes. Don't procrastinate over business issues required by government. If you are not sure what to do, have professionals help you.
These are just a few tips on regular practices that will guide you into a lifetime of financial stability and eventual financial freedom.
