The truth about this life, dear reader, is that we are all sojourners. We came from somewhere and we are headed somewhere. I do not wish to engage anyone in what the definition of where we are going is according to the teachings of their religion. In fact, this piece is not about telling you where you are likely to go after this life or even where you should be on some day of the week. I leave that to religious leaders. Also, I am not going to give names to things that close this discussion to a particular religion. If you are discerning, you will be able to fit what I will share here to your faith. 

Move over Google Trader and Give Room to Google Plus

In the course of this week I received an interesting email from Google. It is interesting because for the longest time now, Google is inching more and more towards making real connections between people and services provided online. It is a good way to curb internet fraud, although it could take some decades.

I often meet people who not only make money online in Kenya but who work from home. Although the Kenyan market has become a lot more tolerant of the home office, there are basics that many people who work from home completely miss out.

Google Hummingbird Algorithm SEO Update

The latest Google algorithm update has been code named the Hummingbird. For all those who have no idea what some of the words up there mean, let’s just say an algorithm is the SEO juju in the back that makes search engines relate your site to the reader’s search terms. In really basic summary, when someone keys in ‘make money online Kenya’ for instance, there is a high chance that they will land on this site.

Now the way the robot figures that out is what the algorithm is about. So Google has surprised us first by running the Hummingbird update for a whole month before telling us things have changed.
